In 2006 my Mom had rushed me to the Emergency Room due to some stabbing abdominal pain. Many test were ran and an internal sonogram was done. That night would mark the beginning journey of where I am today. It is common for women to get cyst on their ovaries, I had one rupture causing so much pain.
For the next two years I would drift in and out of the ER and doctors offices with unanswered questions on why I have so much pain. Finally in 2008 we had heard of a Specialist in Denton, TX. We set up an appointment with Dr. D and had an evaluation done. Dr. D believed I had Endometriosis. In summer 2006 I was scheduled for the laproscopic procedure. They removed all the visible endometriosis, scar tissue and removed and cyst from both ovaries and I also had my appendix removed. On the surgical report it also said Poly cystic appearing ovaries. (meaning you don't release an egg during ovulation)
In June 2009 Nathan and I had began trying to conceive. Through the next year we would experience many ups and downs in our conceiving journey including early miscarriage. Through this journey Nathan and I have grown closer than ever before, and we learned to really lean on each other for support and know that God would take care of us. As if our love for each other wasn't enough, this journey has made our love for one another grow and run deeper.
May 18th, 2010 we went to a Fertility Specialist Dr. K. My mom went with us because she has used Dr. K and just loved him. When we first arrived I was so nervous. We got called back and my weight and blood pressure was taken. Then we were escorted to a meeting room. In the room there was a large bulletin board on the wall filled with photos of babies that Dr. K had helped couples conceive. There were single, twins and triplet baby pictures! When Dr. K came in he was so nice and made us feel so welcome. We talked about what has been going on and he also asked questions to get to know us and told us some things about him and his life. I just knew this was the doctor for us.
May 26th I started my first round of 100mg of Clomid.
June 21st I had woken up about 8:30 we were in Fort Worth and my mom and I were going to take my sister to the dentist. My mom had gone to get ready, so I got up grabbed the cell phone to time the test and began. I sat the test on the sink and just watched the phone for 2 min and 5sec. I picked up the test and just glanced and at first just saw the line going across. I did a double take and it was a (+)!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took off running out of the bathroom and slid lol! I tip toed through the living room where Nate was sleeping!! Then into my moms room. She had just got out of the shower I burst through the door and my knees just turned to JELLO! We hugged and just cried!! I just could not believe it! I'm still in shock!! My day had finally come!
We went to my sisters doctor appointment and ran some other errands. We got back a round 1pm. Nate was still snoozing away because he had stayed up late the night before. While we were out we had went to Target and gotten a onesie that said "I love my DAD" I rolled the test up in the onesie and woke him and said I have something for you. He opened it and just smiled! he was so happy!
How we told our parents
Of course my mom knew already she was their. We waited for my step dad to get home and we gave him a shirt that said World's greatest Grandpa! He was SO HAPPY!
We headed back home that evening and We had a shirt for his dad and my dad but didn't really have anything to give Linda or Christy. So we stopped and got a two onesies that said "What happens at Grandma's stays at Grandma's. We went to Nathan's parents first and gave them the gifts. Steve opened his and said thank you! ha ha I guess he was thinking because he is already expecting a grand son in October. silly. Linda opened hers and just looked at me with her mouth open. She said "Your joking!" I said "Trust me I'm not!!" She just couldn't believe it! Finally!! They were so happy!!!
Next we went to my Dad and step-moms. We did the same thing with the shirt and onesie! My step-mom was crying! She has really been wanting a grand baby! My dad just couldn't believe it finally happened! They were very happy for us.
Now we need prayers!
Tuesday June 22nd- My doctor called and said the blood test came back and I was in deed PREGNANT!!
Wednesday June 23rd- My doctor called and said my progesterone level is a little low so they are starting me on a progesterone suppository. It will help protect and build a lining for the baby to keep from miscarrying. I will have to take it the first trimester until the placenta and my body take over to provide for the baby. I was so scared and nervous today. But i feel a little more at peace and know that it is all in Gods hands and that he has brought me this far. But to you my friends and Family. We need all the love and PRAYERS we can get.
Thank you to all that have and will support us through this journey!
Also we are very lucky to find out so early and we can catch anything that needs to be fixed.
Right now we are at 4 wks and 4 days

God is good!
This weekend has been truely amazing. On Friday night Nathan and I kept our dear friend Sarah's
little girl! Addison! She is so cute and funny. We really had a blast with her. Saturday morning we headed
out to the farm and let her feed the cows. Mom and Dad were out there so Dad caught a little calf and let her pet it. After we left the farm we went to the local diner in town and grabbed some lunch. After Addi's nap we just played around the house. Then saturday night Eric and Jamie came over with some cupcakes. They had blue and pink frosting on the top. Eric had the camera ready for when we bit into it!! (See picture below for color) I was so happy I screamed!! We visited for a little while then after they left I just couldn't stop smiling!
Finally today Sunday. Sometimes we don't make it to church every sunday. Bad on our part because we go out of town alot. Well earlier this week, I felt like God was calling me to church. I woke up early lol and got ready and couldn't be happier to go to church. We had a guest Priest becuase Father had been on vacation. The Priest spoke about helping others and the less fortunate. There is a oragnization that helps children and families all over the world. At the end of Mass Nathan and I decided we wanted to sponsor someone. We got to go to the front and look at the pictures and choose someone we liked. They had a range of ages from young to old. We chose Juan! He is a 4yr. old boy from Guatemala. What stuck out to us is he loves to play and put his cars in order and in a line. It also said he is a mischievous and smiling boy! ;) so cute!
They were watching baseball and she was clapping!
Nathan and Addi playing tea party!

We are not alone....
A great song
We are not alone- Robbie Seay Band (check it out)
As a little girl I remember playing with my dolls and barbies and pretending that they were my babies. I would dress them, feed them, rock them to sleep and just play with them for hours. No matter what I was in control of the moments and things that were going to take part. Oh the joys of life. Don't we all wish we could go back to a special moment in time for just a little bit. Also as a little girl growing up in to a woman my thoughts would drift and I would fantasize about what my life would turn out to be like and I had a plan and that's how it was all going to play out! I would go to High School, I would have a ton of friends, I would get my license and drive where ever my heart desired, go to college, become a singer, get married and not only have the first child, but have TWIN girls. Crazy thought we have. lol. Well unlike my fantasies or being in control of what baby would be my daughter for the day and what outfit she would wear, real life isn't always that simple. God has a plan and we are waiting on his time and we will have bumps in the road, the road may split, sometimes you will walk it alone or side by side someone, sometimes the road may even seem a little unclear but with trust in God and in yourself you can do anything. So their are several things I am waiting on but in the mean time I will pray, help my life along, not give up and enjoy it all. Yes several of the things I fantasised about did happen but by all means they were not on my desired time. Some days in my life can be a constant struggle on the inside but I know I have a great support system and a loving husband who treats me like his Queen. I know I just have to get up trust that I will be taken care of and one day I will one day have all that my heart desires not material things but memories, moments and people in my life that will make it all worth while. Here are some people that make my life a blessing.............
