Blah!

Well it's finally Friday!! This week has not been so good. I have really just felt a little off, Nathan always works on saturdays 4 am - 6:30 pm but yesterday he said he had to help work on the floors saturday night and wouldn't be home until about 12am. Then go back on sunday and fix all the stuff back. It is just so frustrating, but I know he works extra hours for our family. I know I am counting the days until spring break! Only 3 more weeks. I talked to my mom the other day and my sister is going to come stay with Nathan and I for a week! That should be fun, I miss her so much!! It's really hard being away from my family all the time! On the down side, For a couple of months now my uncle had been having a really bad rash and itching. They just assumed it was from winter and dry skin. They really didn't pay too much attention to it. Then his neck started swelling, but after a little while it would go down. Well it kept swelling off and on and this time the swelling didn't go away. So my aunt took him to the doctor to get test done and to see what was going on. The doctor checked him out and say there is no time to do test, you need to take him to the emergency room right away or he may die. So they went to the hospital and did test right away. The results were "Cancer" The rash and itching was caused from the lymphoma cancer. He has cancer in his lymph nodes. Well the next day my mom called again and said the found the cancer is in one complete lung and half of the other one so they wouldn't be able to do surgery. I haven't got to talk to my mom today but the doctors were going to figure what kind of treatment they can do for him. It is just so unreal how life's can change in a instant.

My husband, Mr. Wonderful!!!

This morning i woke up to a scattered roses with little notes attached from my wonderful husband!!! I was so surprised. The first one's I got to see were on the dresser with a note that said "In case you didn't know these are the first flowers i have given you since we've been married!" Next I went to the kitchen to see if Willie would eat this morning and some were attached to the refrigerator with another note that said " Have a great day! Still love you!" Next I went to the bathroom to start getting ready and found another set of roses tied to the towel rack that said " I LOVE YOU!!" I was just stunned! I couldn't believe it!! I just sat on the side of the bed and cried a moment! "not a bad cray a GOOD cry!" This all had put me in a REALLY GOOD mood!! After getting ready, Willie and I headed to the car as we got in he had left me MORE roses in the car but this time with a stuffed bear!!! He also left a not and CD in the player. The song was "one woman" by the Randy Rogers Band. It is truly the sweetest song! Once again i cried!! I was so late for work this morning but i just had to go to Stewart's and see him. I gave him a big hug and a kiss and just thanked him for everything. He has truly been a blessing and a God send to my life.

Willie

We had a great weekend! Jennifer and I had a girls day out on Saturday or shopping and just being able to catch up and talk. Well we planned on going to antique stores and garage sales, but by 10 a.m we had a slight change of plans!!
When we first got to Wichita we had to go to discount tire and replace one of my front tires because it had gotten a knot in it and was messing the whole car up. yuck! Then we went to McDonald's and had breakfast I think we were the youngest ones in there at 8:30 in the morning. After breakfast Jenn and I went to the Women's Expo. It was pretty fun lots of stuff to look at and sign up for. We also got some freebies!! After we left the Women's Expo we ran on over to Atwood's where they were having pet adoption. Nathan decided could go and look to see if there was a dog i liked. We have been talking about getting a dog for a while, but just hadn't found the one we were looking for. We used to have a miniature beagle named Shooter but he passed away, so we thought that enough time had passed we could get a new one. As Jennifer and I we there the animals were just starting to show up. We had seen some really cute dogs but nothing of my taste and none I thought Nathan would like. As we were standing there talking Jennifer says look Amber and when i looked up it was like God was answering our prayers for another miniature beagle to welcome as part of our family. We walked over to the dog and started petting him. I immediately fell in love with him. So i picked up the phone and called Nathan. Telling him that there was a dog i like!!! I said "It's a miniature beagle!" he said "No way!!" yup it was true and his name was "WILLIE!!" I asked Nathan if it would be ok to fill out the paper work and he said yes. So I was the first person filling out the papers! I know that if I didn't be the first he would have been gone because other people were starting to surround him! So we had to drive back to the Humane Society and looked over the paper work and next thing you know we are driving away with our new furry baby "Willie"
After that Nathan met us in Wichita and picked him up, so Jenn and I could finish the rest of our girls day out of shopping and eating at the delicious Olive Garden! We always have the best conversations her and I. Just like old times.

The Wedding!!

We finally got our wedding pictures in! Thank you Allyson you did such a GREAT job and you were fun to be around during it all!!! The wedding went well, but at the same time everything went by so fast though. I can hardly remember it all. I can't believe you plan and plan and it is all over in a flash. I was so happy that most of our families could make it and share the day with us. Sometimes it's hard because i am so close with my family and they live far away from me, but the wedding was perfect because i got to spend time with them all. I am so happy that Nathan and I are finally together at last. It was a long five years but we made it and I am looking forward to all the journeys ahead of us.
